Unveiling Michigan’s Wasted Food Solutions: A Collaborative Effort by CET
CET is building relationships in Michigan with stakeholders that are dedicated to addressing wasted food.
Through a review of existing policies, programs, and outreach strategies, CET assisted the West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum with the development of its Statewide Food Production and Distribution Food Waste Reduction Roadmap.
CET used our nationwide experience with wasted food and conducted a gap analysis to inform a roadmap for implementing food waste reduction policies, outreach, and incentive programs for farmers, food manufacturers, and grocery retailers.
