CET is proud to present the Carbon Conscious Business Accreditation, aimed at recognizing and celebrating the efforts of businesses committed to reducing their carbon footprint.

Importance of decarbonization

According to the most recent International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, limiting warming to 1.5°C involves rapid, deep, and immediate greenhouse gas emissions reductions in all sectors this decade.

Furthermore, the report further states that every increment of global warming will increase concurrent hazards, which include human mortality, diseases, mental health challenges, flooding, biodiversity loss, and decreased food production among others.
